AJNA CHAKRA

Ajna chakra, the third eyes, is the last chakra in a certain sense,Sahasrara being more a gateway then a chakra itself. When open, this chakra give us the opportunity to see reality as it is. We then open our sense to a wider universe and we start to see thing, feel thing very differently. We are no more looking at the shadowy reflexion of life but we see its true colours. We tunes to a clearer reality. It is from here that we can ear our inner Guru and it is from here that we get the insight of what is our Dharma. It is the gateway to the Self, it is the final meeting point of Ida and Pingala. The practice of meditation is definitely an important key to allow our Self to express its true nature, it is by shutting down the movement of our inner turmoil that we can listen to our inner voice. Its like lowering the volume of the radio to be able to speak to the our friend on the phone. Practice like kapalbhati, trataka and shambavi mudra will also be accessory tool for our practice.

Location: center of the brain at top of the spine. Brumadia is in front of ajna between eye brow and they are part of the same reality.

The Third Eye chakra is about insight and visualisation. When it is open, you have a good intuition. You may tend to fantasize.If it is under-active, you're not very good at thinking for yourself, and you may tend to rely on authorities. You may be rigid in your thinking, relying on beliefs too much. You might even get confused easily.If this chakra is over-active, you may live in a world of fantasy too much.
